JORDAN BRAND CLASSIC 2016 RECAP

This past weekend was what High School Basketball Players dream of before their college choices and of course the NBA. Taking place in the mecca New York City, both Nike’s EYBL tourney and Jordan Brand Classic made their presence felt. Friday night’s Joran Brand Classic was the main attraction focusing on the nations most talented high school players. Taking place in Brooklyns own Barclays center, this event continues to breed future NBA stars as previous participants such as Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul to name a few.  This years battle between the East and West gave many players the opportunity to shine and showcase what they have to offer to the next level. The East ran out for the win with a score of 131-117, with the Texan De’Aaron scoring a game high of 23 points. How fitting for Jordan brand.
Of course with yearly sporting events like these comes the surrounding area extra such as appearances, displays, pop up shops, exclusives etc. This year Jordan Brand set up a pop up shop across the way from the Barclay Center at 166 Flatbush. If you are a Nike + member you had the opportunity to get your hands on a number of exclusive releases of both sneakers and apparel.
